Piccoli Fiori JMJ

I was an only child for 8 years and then my sister was born. Things were rough when she was a tot because I was going through some difficult then times too. But now, we get along really well. She is quite the opposite of me on many levels, but we love to hang out and watch things together (when she doesn't have a million other things to do!). Mom always yells at us when we 'argue' or mess around, but I suppose I need to get that out of my system. I lived 8 years without a sibling. It's kinda crazy how she changed my world entirely. She can prove to be a test of patience when I have to get her up for school in the morning and I have been known to be the 'mean one' some days. I only wish we would talk about some more substantial things. I wish I had a sister about the same age as I am just so I would have someone to talk to that would understand some of the things I have to deal with. She starts high school next year, so I am hoping and praying that she won't start hanging with the wrong crowd (I doubt that though... she's a good kid). I still put up with a lot of her crud, but I still love her dearly. I pray for her the most often I think.

I have a younger brother. (just finishing grade 12). It's hard to communicate with him when I'm off at Uni (though we talk on MSN n game n stuff), but we have each other's back.
I have five siblings and I adore each and every one of them. Three of them are on phatmass (Luthien, Azaelia, and Manockster) I've grown extra close to Thomas (manockster) since my sister Laura (Luthien) got married to Sean (Laudate_dominum) and moved away two years ago. Amy (azaelia) is getting married to Nick (phatcatholic) this fall and he's stealing her away to Kentucky :( Us girls were and are extremely close. People thought my sister Laura and I were twins for a while.
I consider this to be probably the best post of the day. I was laughing pretty hard

I am the eldest of 6. Four brothers and one sister. Didymus (affectinately known as Didy) is closer to me in age an we are pretty close ( don't tell I told you) and then is my other 3 brothers who are 14, 10, and 7. My sister doesn't live here anymore.

CoffeeCatholic

2nd of 4, 1 older sister and 2 younger brothers. I'm closest with my older younger brother (he's 19 months younger, that helps!) but I love them all dearly!

On a side note, while I am the only Catholic in my family, I also recently realized that I am the only person in my family who has never done Marijuana (or any other drug for that matter). My siblings all consider themselves pot heads. it's an interesting distinction....

The Bus Station

I'm 3rd of 6; I have 3 brothers and 2 sisters. We all love each other but I don't think any two of us are especially "close" in terms of like, telling each other stuff and asking for advice. We're not one of those outwardly affectionate families that hugs each other and says "I love you" whenever we're getting off the phone or stuff like that. Not that there's ANYTHING wrong with that, but we're Irish, so there's an unsaid but understood mutual appreciation of each other. Well, I like to think it's an Irish thing, anyway.

 (that's also an Irish thing)

Two brothers. I am close to them, I think. We don't have many things in common... like we all have different interests, but we get along really well. We spend a lot of time together. With the older one we talk a lot in the car... he mostly drives me when I go places. He also likes to have me listen while he plays guitar. With the younger one... him and I watch a lot of movies and we "bond" over that. :)

Three brothers and one sister. I am the oldest. I am closest to the brother who is closest in age to me, but we live all over the U.S. and we don't talk as much as we used to. Plus, marriage changes the relationship. We all got together for the first time in three or four years at my wedding. It was really great to be together as a family. :)

rose wrought of iron

I'm the second oldest of 9 (going to be 10 in late July/early August) - one older sister, four younger brothers and three younger sisters. I love them all, but we kinda fight like cats and dogs... I think it's just the immaturity, and I'm pretty confident that as they mature we'll all get along. I think I'm closest to my 12 year old sister right now. i guess I just don't really have many interests in common with the rest of them, and some of them are just too young to really talk to. :hehe:

I say fight like cats and dogs - definitely not that bad.... we argue, but most of it's just messing with each other. We havent'really had any real arguments in a long time. :) And I know I'm going to miss them when I go to college... :sadder:
