AdAltareDei
I love cats. I prefer dogs though. My dog and cat started off hating eachother, now they sleep on the same little blanket we layed out for them. Cuties.

Saint Therese
Dogs are inferior in every way to cats. Fyi.
azaelia
I love the EF aswell. It's beautiful. I love how fully it expresses the Catholic Faith, even the bits that the secular world see's as "negative". I despise the fact that things like hell, redemption, sin, the saints etc. were all watered down in the OF Mass. I mean, if I was Paul VI, I would have just granted a universal indult to have the missal of Pius V said in the vernacular. And this sounds horrible, but I absolutely CANT WAIT until the generation of priests who were ordained in the 60's reaches retirment age. But anyway I digress.
Can I get an AMEN? Hopefully we'll start seeing the liturgical pendulum start swinging in favor of the true reforms intended by the council. Btw, have you visited The New Liturgical Movement? It's right up your alley: http;//www.newliturgicalmovement.org

And liberal dioceses seem to be pulling hardly any vocations. After all, who wants to be a "presider of the assembly" when they could be an alter christus. Saint Therese
The same is true for women's religious communities. I myself was attracted to a very orthodox community which wears the full habit.
Resurrexi
There's a large community of un-habited nuns in town. They are all over 60.
Saint Therese
No surprise really. Many communities of that sort are simply dying out. The Holy Spirit seems to be moving yound women in another direction.
