I also said the same thing on my facebook status as well. Hey, who wants to miss an unique opportunity like this? To see a piece of God's creation up close and personal?
I saw it, it is the easiest thing in the night sky to find at the moment. It is to the right of Orion, a little below. I have cheap binoculars that didn't really give me anything, just a "red star" so unless you have a high powered telescope you won't see much. BTW, it is close to the horizon and will only get closer (it is setting) so get out there now if you have any visibility whatsoever! Tomorrow is supposed to be even better http://www.hollandsentinel.com/lifestyle/x...on-evening-show God's great celestial show! SaintOlaf
Hopefully we can see it tomorrow, we have a fairly high powered telescope. Tonight however was full of rain and storms, not a break in sight. Thanks for the info, Father, I'll keep an eye out for it tomorrow
