Oh... gotcha.

Actually read some of those - hilarious. I just don't always connect books with authors - much better with music/songs.

Apparently when I was still a baby my parents had a cat that went crazy and tried to kill everyone. :)
They took it to the vet to be put down. They used enough solution to take down a large dog. It jumped on the top cabinet and glared down at everyone hissing for a while. Then finally passed out and fell off.
Demon cat. :)

We've never had a psycho cat. They've all been pretty good. But we had this one cat who would attack our dog whenever he got close to us or her kittens (but I'm sure in her mind we were one in the same). It was pretty funny because the dog was this rather lorge black lab mutt and the cat was this tiny gray thing who always looked like she was underfed... But dang dad had to kick her off of that dog....

That reminds me of our cat when we brought home our first dog.
The cat was older and borderline feral. Definitely an outdoor cat. Awesome hunter. The dog was a 65 lb bulldog.
The cat was so mean to Martha. :( Would always scratch her nose until it bled. Poor Martha never quite understood why Erasmus was so mean to her. It was sad and pathetic.
Then Erasmus had a stroke and died about a year later. :P

At least he went out fighting. :) I'm proud of him. He was a good cat.
I saw him chase a border collie 2 or 3 times his size straight out of the park.

Erasmus? Is there a story behind this name?

We had this one cat who was an awesome hunter and we had a barn at the time so we had a ton of mice. Well, said cat could not eat all the mice she killed, so some mornings we'd have 5 mice lined up on the front porch. I guess she though she was sharing. :lol_roll: My grandparents also had a cat like that and one night one of my uncles was sleeping in the fort with two of his younger siblings (they were "camping") he woke up with 4-6 dead mice around his head. :lol_pound:

Not story behind it that I know. He actually wasn't ours to begin with. He belonged to a family we're friends with, but when their son was born, they found out that he was allergic, so gave Erasmus to us. :)
