let_go_let_God
I thought that this would be cool just to see. I have three at home. I use them all, and I have ready access to them where ever in the house. I love the Bible  it's my favorite book, but sadly I haven't finished reading it yet cover to cover. Gunga_ann
I myself have 3, one from Communion, one from Confirmation and a study Bible. Fun stuff!
cathgirl
I have two of them now. (1st Communion & Confirmation) I have a question, the people who taught me the year of my Confirmation said it was okay to make notes in your Bible. I don't really have a problem with it, but some people think that it is disrespectful. What are your opinions....(sorry to get off topic, I just was wondering about this!!) [/quote] it depends... a lot of people highlight their Bible and such for apologetical purposes (i do)... plus some bibles come with a notepad in the back, etc. i don't think it's disrespectful, as long as u aren't proclaiming the Gospel during Mass with it
Jake Huether
I have 5. LOL. One I recieved for First Communion. One I had to buy for school. Two for my wedding. And one for College Graduation. The Douay-Rheims New Testament The New American Bible The Greek New Testament The Douay-Rheims CD-Rom Bible The New American CD-Rom Bible The Revised Standard Version CD-Rom Bible And the Navarre Gospel of Mark, but I'm not sure if that counts, since it's only one book... Colleen
I think we have 2 or three copies of the NAB. We also have the Navarre (what's been done so far). I think we have the Jerusalem one, too. It's old. I think I heard once that there was a Jerusalem Bible that was not good. But I know Mother Angelica uses a Jerusalem Bible. Can anyone clarify?
