Depends on what you're using it for/what volume it's at, etc. Mine typically lasts a few days, so total usage time, maybe...between 6 and 9 hours? Something like that? 3. I love mine. I have the D-R verison of the Bible on it, a Rosary app, the Angelus, and things like the Kindle app, so I can download books from Amazon to it, Facebook and Sudoku apps, the pocket piano for composing when I'm not near a real one, and of course, the ones that come with it that are useful, like the notepad, calculator (actually a quite useful sci. cal when the iPod is turned on its side), weather, and of course, YouTube and Safari apps. mcts Posted April 28, 2009 Share Posted April 28, 2009 two nights ago i forgot and left my ipod running in my car from 4:30 pm when i got home until 8:00 the next morning and it still had a lot of charge left and it wasn't fully charged when i started it, so you can get a LOT of battery time out of it. And I think the purpose of the original poster had more to do with skyping someone in Canada than it does with playing games. Although I do like both of those games.
