I dunno. For one thing, all Governments love it when something bad happens. The Political Class looks for opportunities to sweep in and become the solution to the problem, and problem... even ones that Government caused in the first place.

So I am skeptical when problems get talked up by Government officials. And also the news media wants to get you to watch more news -- so I don't trust them either.

Mexico is standing by the 159 deaths, remember this started in March down there, many of the people are buried. I am following the story on google map community. My husband is currently in Houston, where the toddler died from swine flu. He comes home on Friday.

Here's my question: how do you know if it is not just the flu or if it is swine flu? My pastor is really sick, with vomiting, chills and "other stomach troubles"

If he has it, it was nice knowing everyone, because with a heart problem that complicates things a bit....

There is currently no evidence that this swine flu is more deadly than the regular flu...

My biggest "fear" is knowing that I need to protect my children the best that I can, and not being sure how to do that.... balancing caution vs. living life. Right now we are living life, but at what point do we get more cautious?

With those symptoms and a heart condition he should definitely see his MD tomorrrow, any kind of flu can kill you.
