That line still haunts my dreams as delivered by the little wooden girl.

I wonder if she's related to Hayden Christensen?[/quote]
It was through watching the "Star Wars" prequels that I came to the divinely inspired realization that bad acting is actually a mortal sin.

I still believe I was put through cruel and unusual punishment, in violation of my Eighth Amendment rights.

You know, I think it's possible to actually make a case for that. If a Catholic were a professional actor, he would have serious obligations to do his work well, as per Lumen Gentium and Christifideles Laici. :topsy: But I'm not sure if it goes as far as mortal sin. Perhaps really bad acting would qualify as grave matter.

Well, I only noticed bad acting in the love scenes. Example: Episode III where he's like "You're so beautiful." and she's like "It's because I'm so in love" and he's like "No it's because I'm so in love with you", and she asks "So love has blinded you?"

Cringe-inducing!

Yeah, those were the only times he actually had to act.

Other times, special effects provided distraction.

I really liked this movie. I am guessing their budget was significantly less than that of the other X-Men films. A lot of the green/blue screen shots are low quality. The most noticeable were the parts with his claws and when the prisoners are rescued by Xavier. Gambit and the Blob were awesome.

Saint Therese

My nephew told me they ruined Deadpool as well.
I had several issues with this movie. One of the big ones was the so called resolution of the Wolverine/Sabretooth conflict.

lol!!!

The romantic dialogue in "Attack of the Clones" was equally cringe-inducing. "I've been dying a little bit each day since you came back into my life...I truly, deeply, love you."

How does deadpool whisper?

btw, as someone trained in martial arts, close combat and specifically katana. The effectiveness of holding the sword and being able to spin-pivot the sword as compared to it retracting from his hands are completely different.

Think of the scene when he busts into the room at the beginning and figure eights bullets. He could not do that with the surgical knifes.

was the movie even any good? I heard that it smells of elderberries from several people! Other people loved it, of course...

Yeah but if you can teleport and heal then what does it matter if you can't maximize the effectiveness of his katanas?

I loved the new movie.

Except for the Deadpool mess up, it was pretty darn awesome! I stayed after and I saw the first mystery scene. :)
