And so it begins: the disintegration of the unity of the Trekkie fanbase. I was worried about this.

i don't know.

how can you get them from youtube to your hard drive?
Online tools (like DownloadYouTubeVideos.com or U2download.com) and video grabbing software (such as firefox extensions like "VideoDownloader" or "Easy YouTube Video Downloader") exist for these purposes.

most of the episodes are divided in to 5. you're gonna put them back together again once you download them?

I haven't seen star trek, only when I was very little. All I remember is kirk, spock a Scottish dude and a dude with a weird forehead.

I've seen several Star Wars movies though.

I like both of them a lot. In Star Trek Picard Rocks (The Romulans remind me of the Romans), and in Star Wars the whole "Sith" thing is interesting (Darth Revan and Darth Vader are my favorite :D)

Romulans are based on Romans.

Their home planet is Romulus it's sister planet is Remus

Romulus and Remus are the founders of Rome.

I know that is why I liked "Nemesis" alot. The Romulans are my favorite Star Trek race

Their sister race the Remans sure know how to build ships (the really big scary one :D)

Then Captain James Kirk is St. Peter.

Just saw the movie yesterday... never seen Star Trek before outside of SNL... really enjoyed it. And being a Lost fan, I feel like J.J. Abrams has made his Lost movie in the Star Trek universe.
