:detective: Peace,
Im so tired of bringing up other peoples faults or thinking about other peoples faults or talking about other peoples faults(unless theres a real way to help correct them and the person is present) im sick of gossip with others and in my own head, I have faults that need working on as well and i can't work on them with all this hullaballoo it's making me mad...any book suggestions to find the prayer of quietude and examine rationally problems in my own self that need correcting ?

I suggest going to confession first. No, it's not fun, but what a relief knowing that we have this most wonderful sacrament to be able to participate in. You may also if you are looking for reading material, "The Story of a Soul" It is St. Therese ?Lisieux?
I believe that you will find this very beneficial. Also, Lover of My Soul by Alan D. Wright. It is filled with stories of a real human person for lack of a better sentence. It brings you to the quiet meditative place that you want to be. :)
