Down here we have an annual protest at the local Army post where priest and religious are often arrested... it's hard to sympathize with them becuase they are usually dissident priest and religious. There were certainly a lot of TV cameras there....I doubt this will just 'blow over' The priest is Fr. Norman Weslin. He was carrying a cross in procession prior to his arrest, which might account for his apparent fraility. I'm not sure exactly how old he is, but late 70's is likely. He is the founder of "Lambs of Christ" and has been arrested for protesting abortion many times in the past. He entered the seminary after the death of his wife, and has been a priest for the past 23 years. He is an Army veteran. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

They allowed police to arrest a priest, singing to the Virgin (who the school is named for) for the intentions of the unborn. It is insane.
