KnightofChrist
How do I know? Because I am speaking with her now. Someone that supports genocide is greatly influenced by Satan. Satan has consumed their heart. That is how someone that supports genocide can rightly be called the devil.
How the hell do you know how she used it?? The second time she posted that nonsense she said "obama is the devil himself" --far beyond the words Christ used as we know of them in the Bible.. You people are insane... INSANE... why do I even put myself through this and check out these political threads only to see this gibberish and nonsense? You can't tell the difference between a man and the devil himself???? Even the man spoken of in the Bible who deserves to have a millstone thrown around his neck and thrown into the sea wasn't even the devil... What she SAID was that he's the devil.. THE DEVIL... If that's the pro-life movement then to hell with it.. there are no babies and women being saved by this insanity... honestly, did we actually run out of the perfectly fine arguments we had only to spew this gibberish? And i dont care if i get a warning for this. I deserve it and need it.. and should probably take a break from phatmass for awhile. The ignorance of the few here astounds me.. it just completely baffles me that we feel the need to stoop to this..
Edited May 20, 2009 by KnightofChrist

But He did not use the words to say Peter was literally Satan. Nor did I.
Oh, just give it up already. You are attempting to modify your original statement, which CLEARLY indicated your support of the literal interpretation. You are only now trying to claim otherwise because of the source I posted. But seriously my point is that we should ask the accused instead of just assuming. Soc can defend himself. But it's quite possible that 100% was an exaggeration. I simply don't want everyone that disagrees with her being lumped together and all to be accused of questioning her Catholichood.

It is foolish to suggest that I would believe such nonsense.

But if you would like to show how LitW's opinion is different than Mary Ann Glendon, I would love to hear it. Glendon was fine with President Obama speaking. Its clear she was only against the award. This is the same thing that LitW's opinion. We praised Glendon and LitW is getting railed.

There was no discussion, no real opposition. Not one that was supported by the school. His speech stood on his award. This was no debate of the minds. But I don't have a problem with Obama giving a speech at Notre Dame's commencement. I have a hell of a problem with the honorary degree.
tinytherese
I think that what Lost in This World had a problem in the WAY that the protests happened, not in the fact that there were protests.

He always gives good speeches. He certainly has a good speech writer. Giving him an honor though, way out of line. Plus, I'm hoping to be called a devil on at least 3 threads this month. KnightofChrist
Anyone who supports the mass genocide of innocent babies the way Obama does is very wicked, very wicked indeed. Christians can rightly question suspect that such a person or persons are possessed by Satan. As Pope Pius XII suspected Hitler was possessed by Satan. Again it was not the goosestep or the little mustache, or even the comb over that made Hitler wicked and evil and had the Pope question if he was possessed by Satan. It was the support of genocide.
