Stained Glass Candles. I Know You Got Some.

So I was kinda happy to find out that the candles I always buy from Wal Mart are made in the USA. Compton, CA actually.

We are putting one in our house, in the chunk of it that's currently unfinished. I am currently on the hunt for stuff like kneelers, cool religious art, etc.

Sweet! They aren't too expensive, either. Lots of the icons and other stuff I find is really expensive.

They're in the taco section of all the grocery stores around here as well.

They are on the aisle in our grocery store between Thai and Indian food. Thought that was strange. They are a buck each at my Latino grocery store.

I also saw some the other day in the Indian fabric store when I was buying fringe. They put a bunch of trim on their saris, so that's the best place to buy the stuff for banners and things. They had candles with pictures of Jesus on them, but they were a kind of creepy picture. You could tell it was Jesus, but he looked kind of sinister. I didn't buy one. That would be like having one of those pictures of Jesus on the wall where his eyes follow you around the room.

Yeah, they are often NOT in the candle section now that I think about it. They are by the greeting cards at Wal-Mart, and they are in the Hispanic foods section at the grocery store.

$1.55. $1.75 for the scented (the Guadalupe candle has my favorite rose scent)
