OraProMe Posted May 30, 2009 Share Posted May 30, 2009 It's not about catacombs or a "hidden Church". The idea of an underground Church isn't against the faith. Look at China and communist Russia. I believe John Paul II was trained in an underground seminary, actually. What is against the faith is holding that their is no hierarchy or authority, it reduces Catholics to the state of protestant sects. But atleast it's more logical than the SSPX, there IS a Catholic Authority which is infallible but we'll decide what's binding and what's not.
