Moosey
For me, picking a favourite saint is like picking a favourite child. A few I can think to give credit to right now are, St Jude (Jude is also my guardian angel's name), St Anthony never lets me down when Im looking for something! St Catherine of Siena, St Therese, St Joseph, Mary's beloved spouse, The Archangels, St Gianna Beretta Molla. The list goes on......

elizabeth09
St. Anne, because she was the mother of Mary, and the grandma of Jesus. Then St. Cecilia, because I really like to play and sing music.

kafka
John the Baptist (he never sinned, not even semi-deliberately). Check this astonishing quote out from Saint Catherine Emmerich based on a vision she recieved: "He sees, he knows, he speaks only Jesus. . . In the desert, blameless and pure as a babe in the mother's womb, he comes forth from his solitude innocent and spotless as a child at the mother's breast. 'He is pure as an angel,' I heard the Lord say to the Apostles. 'Never has impurity entered his mouth, still less has an untruth or any other sin issued from it.' ~anyone who has lived knows how astonishing this is. And purity isnt weakness, purity makes one powerful: spiritually, intellectually, even physically powerful according to grace, but not powerful in a worldly way. He is the greatest of Saints next to Jesus and Mary. Not to mention his coming was also predicted in the O.T. Benedict Joseph Labre (homeless pilgrim, who made the people of Rome weep and ring their bells in unison the day he died) Edited June 2, 2009 by kafka
