Resurrexi
I really like St. Thomas Aquinas. Scholasticism all the way!
saintwannabe 777
After mary, it's St. Padre Pio. He fought the devil literally! Had the wounds of Christ. Get crunk against the evil one!!! Plus, being the first black baby born in his hospital in San Giovanni Rotondo, makes him be my guardian saint

hoosieranna
To get back on topic, St. Anthony is always good for a chronic loser of things. St. Fabian is also pretty cool-I have a thing about floods. edit: And Edith Stein. A more practical woman I've yet to encounter, and thus a woman after my own heart. CatherineM
St. Catherine because she could bully Popes while still being completely humble. St. Dominic because he had the courage to go where no one else wanted to. St. Bernard because he was important to my dad. St. Margaret because she wanted to be a nun, but ended up being married to a brute of a man, and she civilized him, his court, and showed us how the rich can care for the poor. Agnes
St. Francis of Assisi, because he founded an amazing Order, had the stigmata, was born in a stable, started nativity scenes, had perfect Franciscan Joy... I could go on and on... St. Francis Xavier because he was a missionary. St. Clare of Assisi, because she followed St. Francis so well. Her writings about God are beautiful. stbensgirl
St Elizabeth of the Hill Country Above Judah, the mother of John the Baptist. I claimed her as patroness of late vocations when I began discerning where God wanted me. A lovely partner to have when coming to the question late in life.
