The Secret

I have someone in one of the groups I participate in who is tooting about The Secret. I briefly read the table of contents ... it looked new agey.

Can someone point me to some sort of authority that can give an opinion as to whether or not it is a good book for a Catholic to read? Or something that is credible enough to point someone to?

Here are a couple of resources you might try. The first isn't Catholic, but it is Christian, and hits the main problems with the book. The second is an article about the book from our Sunday Visitor. Hope that helps. I haven't read the book myself.
