I know this happened a while ago, but I only found this video of them explaining their situation today.

I was going to ask what that face was for but then I remembered that you attend a sedevacantist Mass offered by the same organization these sisters left :P

Sorry >.<

no more comment from me on this here. It's a wee bit of a strain my hope to maintain charity :)

peace out

The video explains that part of their journey was recognizing that the pope was the pope, the Church was still the Church...and that the mass was valid. So, I would think that they have attended Novus Ordo masses. They also didn't really intend to leave their former community, so that suggests they haven't rejected the Tridentine mass, either.

They have attended at least some NO masses (pictures on their web site) but yes, I'd imagine they're open to the Tridentine mass :)

In the video, one of the sisters described her realization that the ordinary form is valid. She explained that it it happened through hearing intellectual arguments for its validity, rather than through actual experience with the ordinary form of the Mass. I would assume it was the same for the other sisters.

I would guess that they are a far cry from having "rejected" the extraordinary form. After spending years only hearing that form of the Mass, I would assume that they usually do hear it still.

I saw the pictures from the Mass celebrated according to the ordinary form as well. I would bet that is not the norm for them, though I may be wrong.

They went to the Holy Fathers Mass in America, so yeah they attend the OF Mass. Although I'm guessing their charism is the Tridentine rite.

I found the descriptions of how the girls family ended up in the traditional movement and life on the Mount very interesting. I'd love to visit Mount St. Michaels one day, the chapel is beautiful and I think almost 1000 people attend Mass there (although I wouldn't stay for Mass).

They had pictures from the Mass for Juventutem (the traddie WYD group), which is a dead give-away that the EF is their charism.

And the Christmas Mass they attended is OF judging from the pictures on their website.
I think they said they're at a retreat centre, so they may just have to take whatever comes their way. Although I'd agree, their charism is EF and maybe when they establish themselves a bit better they'll be able to have regular traditional Mass.

It's been two years now. I realize these things take time, but they are likely rather 'settled' now.

I have a feeling that a few of the sisters returned to CMRI. I don't know why, I think I read it a while ago.
