My Homeless Homie Got Confirmed

Big prayers of thanksgiving for all the 21 kids at my parish who got confirmed yesterday especially for a young lad who has come a long way from living on the streets to finding a family in the Catholic Church.

My hubby brought this homeless boy to our home about a year ago. I still remember the day he came in, all scarred and wounded, with all his bags. He had wanted to be left to die. What he had been through was heartbreaking. Thanks to God's Divine Mercy he has picked himself up and embraced his crosses and found joy and peace again.

He has become like a member of our family and we all love him. I am so humbled to know him and I thank God that despite the many trials this lad has faced, he has been Confirmed and has witnessed to so many people using his talents (another Catholic rapper!) for the greater glory of God. I would have never thought all of this would have been possible.

Nothing, absolutely nothing is impossible to God.

Please can you pray for this boy, that he may follow God's plan for him and that he may be reconciled with all his family. Thanks fam!
