Donna
Al-bear, maybe rorate caeli for an online source? I'm outta the loop, so not sure, but there is news reported there. For books, the Apologia Pro Marcel Lefebrve by Michael Davies while not un-biased, is well documented. (Maybe that's the best one can hope for, documentation). I too would like to see that story told from its beginning, in a reporter-like way.
jkaands
God willing, the SSPX will make things right and return to the fullness of Our Faith... ...but if and when that happens, what happens to the excommunication of Lefebvre? He's already dead... I guess i'm showing my ignorance, but I'm really curious. Does the Church undo excommunications of deceased?? And what happens then to that soul?
Yes, I think that Galileo was de-excommunicated. I'll believe SPPX's returned when I see it's unequivocal and official. Sealed, stamped, delivered.
