picchick
Hmmm..... We have a university who rings bells every hour. Sometimes with a song. Hmmm.... However, there were neighbors next to the kids farm by my house who said that the train whistle was too loud. I laugh because compared to the regular train that comes around, the thing is like a whisper. See what I would do is purposefully move to that area for a while and play my Irish and Rock and Classical music loudly and then throw loud parties every night. That way the people would be BEGGING to have the bells back.

I was thinking about the train that is not anywhere near us, but that we can hear in the early mornings sometimes. So what? That's life. My university used to have a clock that chimed every fifteen minutes. It was near a residential area and I don't think anyone complained... I love church bells. Nihil Obstat
My parish is one of the few in the city (maybe the only one) besides the cathedral that has bells. We ring them every Sunday at 10:30. That's all as far as I can remember, but I may very well be wrong. Edited June 9, 2009 by Nihil Obstat
