I Need A Job

I've begun the Novena to the Sacred Heart by Padre Pio in preparation for the feast of my favorite devotion on June 19th. I really and truly need a job because money is desperate. I have been without health insurance for 2-3 years, and I am scared that something is going to happen to me and I won't be able to pay for health care. Also, I'm tired of "borrowing" money from my grandmother, even though she doesn't expect me to pay it back. I feel like I'm living off my family, and even though I am 25, I'm still living with my parents. It hurts knowing that I could be working right now, but because of mistakes of my past, I have burned many bridges.

In November 2008, I graduated from Nursing Assistant school, and so my main priority is finding a job as a CNA. Things are so desperate right now, that I'm thinking about finding a job at McDonald's or somewhere just to get a reference and make some money. I'm looking at volunteer positions as well in medical clinics to find a better reference for CNA jobs.

I'm going out today to apply to more nursing homes and home healthcare facilities. Please pray to the Sacred Heart (and Padre Pio!) that I can find a job! I want to live more self-sufficient. God bless!
