Inspired by a chat with a few other PMers...do you have advertisements for businesses in your Sunday bulletin? Personally, I've never been to a place of worship, Catholic or Protestant, in my entire life that has had any within their bulletins. At least two other Phatmassers have told me they've never in their life been to a parish without advertisements in the bulletin.

So do you have ads?

We do, on the back. It's all from places that either our parishoners work at/own, or Catholic places.

I don't remember seeing a Catholic bulletin without them on the back.

My mom's parish has a few less ads recently (including the local party store that sells porn and condoms.)

That was me. I hate sharing computers.

I was used to some ads, but we don't have that in my parish here. Considering the neighborhood businesses are pawn shops, adult videos, and pay day loan places, I'm okay with no ads.

I'd never seen them in any Protestant church I ever attended and I've always seen them in every Catholic parish I've attended.
