All the bulletins in our diocese has ads on the back page (front & back) we're a missionary diocese so the ads pay for the bulletin.

We are missionary as well. I guess that means we have to import priests. We have a bunch from India and Africa. Our new priests are coming from Calgary from a Basilian order.
What's a missionary diocese?
Usually it means a diocese with a low number of Catholics, lower collections (because of the lack of Catholics), and a lack of priests where we have to have them come from other countries.

So when your Church does a collection (usually a second one) for mission diocese or missionary diocese it goes to diocese like mine and Catherine's to help fund the Churches, etc.

Brother Adam

I've never been to a Protestant church that even has a bulletin that I can remember. But every Catholic Church that I have ever been to that has one does have ads on the back.

I've never seen a Catholic Church in the US with ads in the bulletin, but this question got me wondering if some just might exist. I have seen a couple with very few ads, but then I felt bad for the parish.
I'd never seen them in any Protestant church I ever attended and I've always seen them in every Catholic parish I've attended.
Ditto.

Most protestant churches I've been to have bulletins, but no ads.
