Plus it looks really cool.
Nice. Like the blank keyboard from thinkgeek? I wanted one, but they made it so it was clicky on purpose and it was about 100 bucks cause they made it so it never wears out or something...
Wasn't qwerty arranged as it is to keep the keys from locking together (I HATED THAT!)? Doesn't seem like the most efficient way to type now except that most people learn that way in typing (er... uh... keyboarding) class.
yeah. it's standard... I would be hard-pressed to convert, let alone start a generation on it.
I have neither.
You use the German layout? For all y'all who have a keyboard layout that isn't qwertyuiop[] asdfghjkl;' zxcvbnm,./ Could you put the layout like so so we can see? (left to right, top to bottom, not including numbers)
Nihil Obstat
I wonder if I could type with a blank keyboard....... I think I could. I might make mistakes now and then and have a tough time getting started, but I don't look at the keys anymore. They're more of a security blanket. Switching to Dvorak though, I'd be screwed. Plus it would be pointless having a blank qwerty.

VeniteAdoremus
As my sister said... DVORAK ALL THE WAY \o/ *high-fives T-Bone* I would love a blank keyboard but Macbooks don't seem to come with them I already know I'll be driving half the convent crazy with forgetting to put the keyboard layout back to Qwerty. Of the Dvorak users I know, most got quicker when they switched from Qwerty. But I think that when you're talking about the REALLY fast people, the lay-out matters less. I use Dvorak because it's easier on the hands. I do type fast, though. Faster than I think. Which probably explains a lot about many of my posts here

Carefully pry them off, and then spray paint them.

Didymus
I use a classic Maltron Dvorak with little holographic images of Star Wars characters popping out of each key..
