Socrates
That chaplain should be court-martialed.

Sojourner
What is the point of even posting this, other than to scandalize people? This had to have happened more than 20 years ago.

Two Hearts
The chaplain story was sweet, no matter when it happened, but sounds like it would have been more likely years ago. The animal abuse stories are horrible and I hope every instance is prosecuted - of course, in some states prosecuting for animal abuse is a joke. Sad, very sad. pat22
my dad got out of the army about 11 years ago and he was stationed near dallas when he had that chaplian.
Sojourner
Even if it wasn't 20 years ago, it was at least 11 years ago. There is nothing we can do about it now, except say, "how awful!" You know very well that it was improper. Your family is well-versed in the faith. There is no point to posting about it here.

Two Hearts
I'm glad you shared the story - it reminds me of our little dogs who come to chapel with us. Thank you!

It's sacrilegious, not funny, or even interesting. Maybe that's just me. Whatever.

Do you even know what the Eucharist is? Pat's story is much more horrifying than the animal abuse ones.
