Gregorius
You know who was just reminded of for a good read? Mgsr. Luigi Giussani. Among other books, get The Religious Sense, At the Origin of the Christian Claim, and Why the Church?. I studied part of the second book this past year, so I decided to borrow my own copy. Giussani's approach is very unique.

rhetoricfemme
Alibris.com is another great place to get books for cheap. Borders uses them when searching for out of print titles for customers. They send out pretty awesome coupons, too, and not an annoying amount of them to boot! MissyP89
Cheap books. When I was younger, if I misbehaved, my parents would take my books away. Edited July 7, 2009 by MissyP89
franciscanheart
From reviewing. Amazon recruited me for something called the Vine Program, based on the quality of reviews I'd posted. Two to three times a month I get a newsletter with a bunch of stuff to pick from (mostly books, some other products too). I have to review at least 75% of what I get. Also, because of the Vine reviews, and posting reviews on my blog, some other publishing folk have started sending me books, in the hope that I'll review them. They are finally starting to get frequent enough that I have a (very small) backlog!
that's awesome.
