mamalove
My father-in-law passed away today at about 11:55 a.m. Praise be to Jesus for a peaceful death and thank you St. Joseph for your intercessions. His breathing became more shallow at about 11:30. My mother-in-law said it would be time to say the Angelus soon. But then said a few moments later what we all were thinking: we should say it now. While reciting that beautiful prayer, his breathing became even more shallow and we called the others who were there to his side. We started saying the Sorrowful Mysteries of the Most Holy Rosary and during the third decade, his breathing just stopped. There was nothing but peace. No gasping, no pain. Just peace. Praise be to you, Lord Jesus Christ! Thank you for all the prayers.
