Abused 11-Month Old Girl :(

Sorry if this is long, but this phorum is a nice place to go into more detail for this situation, because it provides anonymity. (Hi, btw- haven't posted here in months!)

My cousin is almost 20. She has bipolar disorder, was neglected as a child and taken away from her father, raised by my grandparents who were not the greatest parents either. She spent her teenage years in and out of juvenile jail and various group homes. She was discharged from the state system that was trying to help her when she turned 18, and got pregnant 3 months later. I've never met the baby, Leighanna, who is now 11 months old. We suspected before that the baby was neglected, and knew that my cousin and her boyfriend were into drugs. Well, on Sunday my mom, another cousin, and my uncle called child services, and the baby was taken from her home Monday evening with bruises all over her face and a broken leg. They suspect that my cousin, the father, and another adult who lived with them were all abusing the child. Please pray for the health and safety of Leighanna, no child should have to go through such a thing. Pray for my cousin to turn her life around. Pray for the child's future, that she is placed with a good family. She is currently living with the boyfriend's aunt, but if she cannot keep Leighanna long term, my cousin Josh and his wife (with 2 kids) and my sister and brother-in-law have offered to adopt. Both would be good families (although not practicing Catholics
