Stages Of Discernment - Advice From Passionist Nuns

Hey, that's great research material. Thanks for posting!

Also: This community has two sisters who are certified SDs and who provide guidance in the Ignatian Spiritual Exercises to retreatants at their monastery. So you can totally trust what they say (for even more reasons than just "they're nuns"). ;-)

Sister Rose Therese

Yes, this seems pretty accurate from the way I remember it. :)

Look forward to see the rest of it.  I imagine reading this will help many young people to not get overly anxious about their discernment.

  • 2 weeks later...

This was on the Passionist Blog this morning.

http://www.passionistnuns.org/blog/

Last week we switched to a new website/blog hosting service. In the process of all that…yes, you guessed it…the blog crashed…

After a harrowing week, me having talks with God about the blog and learning a new lesson of detachment (!) and Sr. Mary Agnes working all day and sometimes early into the next, she, along with the helpful technicians, was able to restore a backup from July.  Thank God for Sr. Mary Agnes’ perseverance and that the blog was restored!

But alas…the 4 blog posts I wrote on the 7 Stages of Discernment were lost.  Did any of you happen to copy those discernment posts?  If so, I would be most grateful if you would send it to me.

I must be off to kitchen duty.  God bless us all!

Did anyone save the posts??

I may have found a solution in google search for "Passionist Nun's Blog 7 Stages of Discernment" When the the results pop up next to the URL for the page there is a tiny green arrow, click on that and a drop down menu should show up, then click on cached and it will show the page. Not very pretty but I believe the content is there

 Here are a couple URLs

A thank you note from In the Shadow of His Wings Blog:

"Special thanks are due to Theresathoma at Phatmass for the idea of checking the cache for the previous blog posts that were lost. Yea!  We were able to recover all of them except Stage 4 of the 7 Stages of Discernment.  I hope to post the lost articles this coming week"
