and if your going to go around on a catholic board calling our presidnt the antichrist have some backup. i can backup with scriputre he is neither the antichrist or an antichrist. if you got some new catholic memo that says hes an antichrist or the antichrist then lets see it. i dont think you do. how about you pray for our president who is our brother in christ instead of playing the "im holier then you role and im going to my point my finger at you and call you satan"

peace

The Vatican has called the democratic party, "the party of death."

Obama has promised Planned Parenthood his first act as President would be to sign into law FOCA.

Obama opposed the Born Alive Infant Protection Act four times.

Forget everything else, just the above makes this man the anti-Christ.
I guess those might work, but I explictly told her it was against the Church and she told me I had no right to question her faith, then saying that I was basically saying I was the better Catholic.....ugh, people.....
Heres the part....

Abortion

2270
Human life must be respected and protected absolutely from the moment of conception. From the first moment of his existence, a human being must be recognized as having the rights of a person—among which is the inviolable right of every innocent being to life.72

Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you.73

My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately wrought in the depths of the earth.74
2271
Since the first century the Church has affirmed the moral evil of every procured abortion. This teaching has not changed and remains unchangeable. Direct abortion, that is to say, abortion willed either as an end or a means, is gravely contrary to the moral law:

You shall not kill the embryo by abortion and shall not cause the newborn to perish.75

God, the Lord of life, has entrusted to men the noble mission of safeguarding life, and men must carry it out in a manner worthy of themselves. Life must be protected with the utmost care from the moment of conception: abortion and infanticide are abominable crimes.76
2272
Formal cooperation in an abortion constitutes a grave offense. The Church attaches the canonical penalty of excommunication to this crime against human life. "A person who procures a completed abortion incurs excommunication latae sententiae,"77 "by the very commission of the offense,"78 and subject to the conditions provided by Canon Law.79 The Church does not thereby intend to restrict the scope of mercy. Rather, she makes clear the gravity of the crime committed, the irreparable harm done to the innocent who is put to death, as well as to the parents and the whole of society.

Voting= Formal cooperation... maybe... at least thats the argument

you've got that one all wrong. Archbishop Burke (a Vatican official) said that the democratic party is fast becoming "the party of death."
Lead astray? They have taken us with them. 54% of Roman Catholics voted for the anti-Christ.

They defied the Vatican's call who called the Democratic party the party of death. Bishops came out and stated they should not vote for a pro-abortion candidate.

They have ex-communicated themselves from the Church by their defiance.

And millions more children will die because of their interest to get $500 from Obama.
They've been lured away from the faith. Where as you appear to be the type to close the door and lock them out, I'm the sorta dude who's gonna run out the door after them, begging them to come back to the Heavenly Table.

But whatever works for ya.
;) fixed it for you. :hehe:
BOOYAH!!!!

whats up ?
thanks for fixing
but is even calling him an antichrist ok ?
the bible says that a antichist is someone who doesnt acknowlege christ came in the flesh.
so how can he be an antichirst ?
i do agree hes a terrible christian and may well be someone jesus says "depart from me i never knew you" (and that could be any one of us to) but at the same time that does not make him an antichrist.
the bible is pretty clear on that.
ok just wondering.
godbless
I find the use of the term "anti-Christ" to be the Christian equivalent to calling a Democrat a "socialist" or a "communist." It's a phrase used entirely to bring about an irrational, emotional response while conjuring up fear. It's cr@p and should be taken with enough salt to cause a heart attack!

Deducing from observation that a powerful person may be an "anti-Christ" is in no way trying to emit an irrational, emotional response while conjuring up fear...

It is merely an observation that individuals felt compelled to discuss, albeit, tried to any way, but found themselves accused of all sorts of bigotry and hatred and "fear-mongering" amidst the varied individuals on this here phorum...

It is also my observation that there are many here who find fault with anybody who doesn't think they way they do, casting all sorts of judgements, without realizing their own criticisms and judgemental nature...

DS,

I think there has been a lot more than just casual "discussion" of Obama being an/the anti-Christ. It's almost taken for granted by most. And you cannot deny that the term itself is loaded and used to arouse animous towards the man.

I try not to be judgemental, I really do. And I know that ya'll mean well. But it's hard to not want to rip the hairs out of my chinny-chin-chin when I read some of the stuff that, say, Akalyte posts.

Yeap.

And how many murdered children does it take for someone who supports that murder to be rightful considered an antichrist, or anti christian by a Christian without being talked down to by another?

ya but the bible is so clear on it thats why i keep posting what the bible says.
the bible says that anyone who does not acknowelge christ came in the flesh is an antichrist.
this cant be obama, he acknowleges christ came in the flesh. if your going to call him this at least know what the word means.
why not call him a murderer or a bastard, or a baby killer or a fake christian ?
but why an antichrist ?
when the bible is so clear on what an antichrist is ? and when obama dont fit that title ?

I wondered how long it would take for you to weigh in, brother.

I think that people could be Christians with severely malformed consciences. They need evangelization, prayer and patience. I don't think they need to be labeled with loaded-terms. I don't think that helps convert their hearts or their minds.
