I'm tempted to really go now because there was an announcement after Mass that my parish is sending a bus. The bus is leaving at 5:45am which is probably the time the bus at my school is leaving. HOWEVER, if I went with my school, I would have to leave my house at 4:30am to be on the safe side...but with my parish, I would leave the house at 5:30am to be on the safe side. Hmmm.

If I were you, I'd take the extra hour of sleep ^^^

I'll be there with Notre Dame/St. Mary's/Holy Cross. Eight freakin busses. :woot:

I'll be there with some friends!

I'm going as I have been for the past few years.

The real question is, is anybody going to the huge youth rally and Mass beforehand?

I'm going! :yahoo:

The opportunity opened up about an hour ago. Couldn't believe it.

(Actually, I didn't even know anyone from my county was going...!)

We're leaving at 6:30am. TOMORROW. :woot:

Gotta pack!

If it's your first march, be sure to dress overly warmly, everyone. With rain gear. And wool socks, not freeze-yer-hide cotton. 41 degrees standing in the rain, motionless and listening to politicians and nationalistic music will get you hypothermic real quick.

A 41-degrees March for Life is not customary. It should be at least as low as 34. Enjoy the balmy weather.

Also, I did make the trip to DC back in 2007. There were men with bagpipes.

Praying for all who are going. :)

Praying for all going, and please...if you get interviewed by EWTN, do not be like the girl from Steubenville just now who referred to Europe as a country under the dictatorship of relativism. It's a continent. :P

I want pictures!

I am watching the live stream on EWTN since I don't have the channel, but there was an orthodox Rabbi on just now and he was fired up! He had his son and another man on stage with him and they pulled out shofars and blew them. Awesome! :)

I am not going because of my mom, and other reasons as well.

Don't be so harsh! She was probably very nervous. Not to mention cold! God bless 'em!
