melporcristo Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 JMJT Hi Pham, I only remember the cover of this book that has come out in the past 2 years or so regarding the religious life. The front cover had a picture of a sister (Carmelite - maybe??) praying looking down & there was an overshadow on her. Yea sorry its kinda vague but I can't remember what it was about but I really want to check it out. Ok thanks!! In Christ, Melissa

I am glad this is the book you were looking for -- I have been thinking about purchasing it myself; however, I am still hopeful the price will go down.... at least a little bit.

In the episode (The Man Trap), the Salt Vampire takes the form of female humans mostly (except, it takes the form of a man to Uhura). No worries, tomorrow will be Data and Mr. Tricorder.

the_rev Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 That book is available on Amazon for a lesser price than through Ave Maria press: http://www.amazon.com/Foundations-Religious-Life-Revisiting-Vision/dp/1594711984/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1269271062&sr=8-1
Hilde Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 I got it on the book depository, a UK book seller. They have free shipping. I don't know which is best to buy from for someone in the US, but for me it's usually the book depository.
melporcristo Posted March 22, 2010 Author Posted March 22, 2010 JMJT Just got it through the bookstore I work at! Yippee!! So excited!!!
laetitia crucis Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 Hey! Just wondering if anyone has seen this video: The Call: Formators Workshop based on the book "The Foundations of Religious Life: Revisiting the Vision" This video is most excellent, my dear VSers! If you cannot afford the book yet (like myself), check out that video! The duration is a little over one hour. I definitely plan on getting that book (and from amazon.com, no less -- thank you, rev!!).
