What an adorable little animal. A porcupine, I suspect, but maybe a hedgehog. As far as I know, we don't have any hedgehogs native to the U.S. so we don't get to see them very often. How incredibly tiny. I wonder how old it is.

I'm not an expert on porcupines and hedgehogs, but an expert would be able to tell what this baby was by the spines on its body. The face doesn't look like a hedgehog face to me. But, then again, I've never seen an English hedgehog, only African ones. And, never a baby.

Whatever it is, it's cute. It reminds me a little of myself (except my guess is that it's a boy). Prickly on the outside, and inclinded to roll up in a ball if I feel threatened, but soft and vulnerable on the inside.

Yeah. It's probably a hedgehog. You can pick up the baby ones because their spines aren't matured.

In real life, there is almost no animal cuter than a baby Orangutan. The picture above doesn't do justice to how cute they are. That baby tiger must have been hand raised, because baby tigers raised by their mothers are MEAN--when they bite, they mean it. The mother has to raise them that way so they can survive in the wild.
