LilyofSaintMaria Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 How do you sign-off your emails and letters to fellow Catholics? Curious what everyone else does. . . My usual "quicky" is God bless or God bless you. Other times it is Jesus through Mary or Jesus thru Mary. That's about it.

laetitia crucis Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 Till we find in Jesus joy forevermore
CatherineM Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 I don't sign things. Don't use salutations either. Weird I guess.
TeresaBenedicta Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 Depends on how I'm feeling that day, haha. Used to just be "Pax". Now it's usually, "In the Peace of Christ." Or if it's to my Militia Immaculatae friends, it's "In the Immaculate." Really depends on my audience. My letters to the parish and volunteers are signed "In Jesus and Mary."
teresitacarmel Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 God bless!
Jaime Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 I used to sign letters PITBG Peace in the Big Guy
Cherie Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 Usually I stick to: In Christ, But sometimes I vary it up according to how the Spirit moves me like: With love and prayers, In Jesus through Mary, In Our Lady, Pax et Bonum, God bless, (usu. for people who aren't Catholic since it's pretty "generic") With prayers through the intercession of St. ______, (whoever's feast day it is that day) And I can't really think of more right now! So many awesome Catholic ways to sign off a letter/e-mail!!! I love it!!!
SoonerCatholic Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 If I'm writing to a religious, I will sign off "Yours in Christ." Anything else seems affected to me.
Ephrem Augustine Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 Jesus <3 U or JC<3U shalom keep it real homey different people warrant different sign offs, but not too many non practicing catholics like talking to a friar anyways
Wikitiki Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 ...I write "God bless" when I'm mad. Otherwise, it varies depending on the specific person.
Sarah147 Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 (edited) Love God bless you In Christ Blessings Prayers Some nice ones I've considered: In the Hearts of Jesus and Mary May God richly bless you Peace be with you I can't think of the others, but there were some really beautiful ones. I'll try to find them later. Edited September 27, 2010 by JoyfulLife
southern california guy Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010
...I write "God bless" when I'm mad.
When you're mad? I always thought that it was nice to end a letter with something like "Take care and god bless"
Ed Normile Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 I use several, May God bless you, or God bless you and yours, or Pax Christi. I have two cousins I email and end it with, get yourself to mass, soon!. ed
Ed Normile Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 I wonder if any you guys ever do this, I got it from my granny, may heaven be her bed, but when I use caveman mail I write on the back of the envelope J.M.J. which stands for for Jesus, Mary and Joseph. ed
mommas_boy Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 I have the following quote at the bottom of my emails: "Do not say, 'That's the way I am; it's my character'. No. It's your lack of character -- Esto Vir! Be a man!" -- St. Josemaria Escriva
