I was surprised that Sadora wasn't grinning ear-to-ear, but maybe the Community wanted to post more serious-looking pictures. (Also, she probably had jet-lag, since she arrived in England after an all-night flight only hours before her official entrance to the community!) [/quote] I think these were taken a few days after her arrival-- if I recall correctly, she wasn't fitted for her postulant outfit when she first visited, so they had to make it for her when she arrived. [/quote] Good reminder--I remember L-C telling me that, too. I expected to see L-C grinning from ear to ear that she finally made it to England! But, entering religious life is a serious thing, so maybe her face is reflecting that. Or, as I said earlier, maybe the Community wanted a serious picture for their Web site. I remember L-C saying once that she wasn't wild about the postulant outfit for this Community--she wished it had a veil--and a cape! LOL. Actually, I think it looks pretty good--better than many I've seen. And, L-C's novice habit will have a cape (and veil). Plus, I bet that, after she FINALLY! got to put it on, she didn't care what the postulant outfit looked like, but was just happy to be entering religious life. vee Posted October 17, 2010 Share Posted October 17, 2010 Today I received in the mail a surprise package from LC sent before she left for England. Apparently it takes ten days to send a couple of books to Canada who knew! Anyway much to my shock and screams of delight, I sounded like a little kid getting a PS3 or something for Christmas, I opened the bubble mailer and stared at the wonderful things she had so thoughtfully sent me out of the blue. Its rare for my hands to shake when I open something but as I picked up one thing after another the shaking persisted. A copy of My Sister St Therese, the Divine Favors Granted to St Joseph, Divine Mercy as a Way of Life, a little chaplet of St Therese, and a small greeting card with a pic of St Therese on the front and a wonderful message inside from LC. God has given me some incredible wonderful, amazing, and holy phriends through phatmass and I am ready to nominate LC for Canonization even though she is still alive.
