I wonder, though, if they bring a wedding gown with them when they enter, or if they are donated to the order and are reused?

My sisters used to have the sisters come in in bridal gowns for final profession (in their old community) but I don't know if they will keep this tradition with the new community. Next year, two sisters will make final professions; we'll see if they kept it or not.

I don't know how long their novitiate is.) and them being VERY happy. Some nuns just look really young, sometimes the habit does that. Edited March 12, 2011 by truthfinder

The novice directress in my community does not look her age at all. In fact, you can take about 15-20 years off of her age and she will pass without a second look from anyone.
