Just curious, I guess my reading the Redwall series had something to do with this finding, but I've recently found the furry fandom. Has the Church ever written or said anything for/against it? It definitely has its sinful aspects (Like almost anything does) but what about 'furryness' in general?

The Church doesn't address passing fads. Otherwise we'd have several encyclicals on the morality of receiving one's guests while in bed.
The whole 'furry' subculture appears to be very fetishistic, so it's something to be wary of.

yeah, thats something else I've noticed about it.

But you're right- there would be more church documents than any hundred of us could shake sticks at if all such things were officially addressed.

Dressing up is not a problem. What 90%+ of furry fans like to do when they dress up is not cool.

I would strongly suggest avoiding that community.

Don't be judging us. Stereotypes are lame. We're people too.

Did you hear that Brian Jacques died recently? I actually got to meet him one time, a friend of my mom's owns a book shop, and he came in and signed books, and spoke. It was really cool.

The Church would never condemn this.
