There is probably a thread already for this one, but I still like to look through pictures of the beautiful brides of Jesus Christ!!

I must say--I really love looking at pictures of the Benedictines of Mary. They have such lovely ceremonies. The bridal gowns are gorgeous!

Here is my favorite order as of this moment:

I think the Franciscan Sisters of the Renewal's habit is my favourite, but I like very much the combination of the dominican/franciscan habit in the S. S. of the E. W. too!!

Ever since I heard of Mother Teresa, I have been thouroughly obsessed with their order. Though I believe God to be calling me to a life inside the walls of the church. We will see.

The image in the middle is actually the Poor Clares of the Immaculate (note the guimpe). They are the contemplative branch. The Franciscan Sisters of the Immaculate are right behind them. :) +Pax+

So THAT'S why they looked different. :crazy:

I saw the Franciscan Sisters behind them and then spotted the differences in habits. I totally forgot about the contemplative branch. Thanks for the heads up! :like:
