RULES:

Someone puts up an order with some clues. The Answerer must then post their order!

Ok:

Order 1: This religious order is rather new in the United States. Originating in France, they are very common in Poland where a famous saint entered there. They are active/contemplative and wear a black habit.

Guess away!

I'm sure it is them because their founder spent time in the House of Mercy in France.

This religious order, though not begun in Ireland, recognizes it's spirituality's foundress as the original foundress. It was established in 1973 in response to the renewal called for in the Second Vatican Council. The Sisters do work mostly in healthcare but also have a teaching apostolate.

I need to think up harder ones...

This order teaches, nurses, runs a college, social work, CCD---they do everything. Although they are Franciscan, they have a different name. They were founded in Poland, as well!

No, it was answered up top by LaPetite. It was the Religious Sisters of Mercy of Alma, MI. ;)
