I was looking around at Catholic.com and I came upon these "truths" Jack Chick is trying to teach about the Catholic church.

The Vatican conspiracy is so extensive that, through the Jesuits, Rome controls the Illuminati, the Council on Foreign Relations, international bankers, the Mafia, the Club of Rome, the Masons, and the New Age movement.[10]
 

The Jesuits created the Jehovah’s Witnesses, Mormonism, Unity, Christian Science, and other religious groups.[11]

This is laughable!!

Unfortunately, though, it's so sad because I actually know people who buy into this garbage. I knew a lady who gave me a Chick comic a several years ago.

Who in the world would put so much time and effort into something like this? He HAS to know these things aren't true!

The insidious blasphemies that that man has scribed against the Church do not stop there. He calls the Eucharist "the death cookie." Some anti-Catholic, perhaps Chick too, considers Catholic Orders to be "the indelible mark of the beast." This all strikes me as true hate speech (but okay in the eyes of liberal politicians and judges), but then...I'm [b]one of [i]them[/i]![/b]

It's also impressive that the Catholic church keeps the name of every protestant church member in the world in a big computer.......most of the protestant churches I went to could not have told you the names of all the members of their own congregation who attended every week!!

Most of the lies he tells are so outrageous that one has to wonder how he came up with them! I'm not a creative enough liar to think up that sort of carp! Does he really believe all that himself? But then again, I suppose you can make yourself believe something if say it enough.

I've wondered that myself. I found an article once online by a Catholic apologist who met Jack Chick and talked with him and according to the article Chick used the same lies in their conversation that he uses in his comics, so if he doesn't believe them he sure propigates them.

I'm planning on doing a parody of "The Last Rites" within a few weeks wherein Jack Chick goes before the Judgment seat, gets lectured on all the false, heretical Protestant doctrines he believes, then gets sent to hell. Right after I finish finals then draw James White in an Arizona Cardinals uniform.
