"discernment As A Theme In Art" Thread?

What about a thread for "Discernment as a Theme in Art"?

For starters: "The Cloister or the World" by Arthur Hacker http://www.catholictradition.org/Angels/angelorum8.htm

Swimmingly gorgeous and the subject matter makes it doubly attractive. Thematically, though, our painter seems not to have got it quite right - I mean, who, in the middle of an ecstasy, is going to be concerned with matters of discernment and decision making!? Anyway, still splendiferous - thought you might enjoy.

I love these two by C. Bosseron Chambers, one of my favorite artists

And a few more by him here, http://www.flickr.co...ron+call&m=text (and larger resolutions available of the ones above)

Since she's wearing a habit and praying the Rosary, one could imagine that discernment is not her problem anymore!! :)

I love these! The first one looks like St. Edith Stein. The second looks like Pier Giorgio Frassati. :)
