Also, Sr. M. Andrea of the Holy Cross celebrated her 60th Jubilee! Her pictures are included in the slideshow near the end. :)

Please say some prayers for this community. My friend, who is a member of this forum, is going to be re-entering them next June (God-willing). :)

I'm sure she will appreciate it. She doesn't post very often, but she reads the forum quite frequently. ;)

I never ever get tired of looking at profession pictures! And I love their names too!

Yes, they have beautiful names. My friend's name in religious life (and will be again when she enters) was Sr. Mary Elizabeth. :)

I met Sr. Mary Micheal once.
Good times, good times.
Prayers for everybody!

Her cousin (the lords sheep) was actually on here before she entered religious life. She always told how Sr. MM parents didn't approve of her vocation and gave her a heard time about it. Seems like at least some of that blew over because she took pictures with them. I'm glad they warmed up to the idea.

Strangely enough, the lords sheep entered the Religious Sisters of Mercy in 2009, which I think is really neat. :)

Great picture! I love the halo! Mother M. Angelina is wonderful.
This thread makes me so happy. Glad it was brought back up! :) I don't post very often, but I do like to read things on Phatmass.

...I guess I'm a little biased toward this community! :hehe2: I sincerely love the Carmelites DCJ and their charism/spirituality. Anyone discerning, please, pay them a visit! Their retreats are wonderful and a great way to "break the ice" for those who are in that "unsure/uncertain" phase of discernment.

Thank you for all the offers of prayer! I am visiting my Sisters again very soon, and I am overjoyed! Re-entering is truly beautiful, a testament to God's mercy and fidelity no matter what life may bring.
My prayers will be with all of you on my visit and when I return in about 8 months!
The waiting has been a challenge, as the entire journey has been, but the truth is that God sustains us and holds us in every situation and difficulty of life. His plan is marvelous, and He can make all things beautiful, even when we don't understand them at first. All in His time and in accordance with His will!

"All that God does is good. Always praise and glorify God". -Bl. Mother Maria Teresa of St. Joseph (Foundress)

In the Love of the Divine Heart of Jesus,

"iamMyBeloveds", your "future" Sister Mary Elizabeth :nun:

MM...You are such a great support through it all! :console:
