Sr Mary Catharine OP

That is Sr. Mary Joseph, formally of the Newark Monastery of St. Dominic. She is now at the North Guilford Monastery. If you click on other videos you will see one of the community in the parlor.

I miss Sr. Mary Joseph so much and she has aged so much here. Also, I think she is a little senile now.

It's so nice to see our North Guilford sisters. (They are our daughterhouse!)
Very sweet. But I must admit I read it as a message from St Therese
I did too! And then I looked at the title again and realized it was not.

I definitely needed to see this especially inn light of how I have been feeling lately. You could see the love and sincerity in her voice.

She's adorable. Lovely light in the eye. And you know, when she says "I love you all and pray for you and hope to meet you in heaven" I totally believe her, on ALL of it.

Oh my! I got confused because the nephew? called her Aunt Therese! Thanks for the clarification, SrMC. :)

Therese may very well have been her baptismal name. I know some religious whose families still call them by their baptismal names.

That's pretty common, I think, at least in the US!
