Society Of The Daughters Of The Heart Of Jesus

I have been reading about Blessed Marie de Jésus Deluil–Martiny (http://vultus.stblogs.org/2007/02/a_lover_of_the_pierced_heart_o.html) and the religious order she founded, the Society of the Daughters of the Heart of Jesus. I just love their charism and devotion to the Sacred Heart and Blessed Sacrament. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find anything about them on the internet. :(
Does anyone have any info about them?

Thanks!

Rooted around a bit using "Marie de Jésus Deluil–Martiny" and " Daughters of the Heart of Jesus". There a number of blog entries and webpages about the foundress in English.... but no English website for the community. I don't think they are in the U.S.

I did find the community website -- but it is only available in Dutch or French... I read some Spanish and Italian, and I could l make out most of the French, so you may want to try.

You can try the Google translator, but sometimes those translations are... well.... sad. :help:

The Vultus blog has several other good articles on her/them:

"Close to the Heart of Jesus"

"A Fruitful Love"

And the Tyrringham Visitation nuns have this:

Since this devotion seems to be coordinated through the Visitation Nuns at Paray-le-Monial, you might want to contact the the Tyrringham Visitandines (or another Visitation monastery) to see if they have any idea regarding additional info in English...

Happy hunting! :knight:

I met some of these Sisters while in Rome. They had a convent there that they had to leave for various reasons, and we (as Sisters) were permitted into the cloister during our visit. Our priest friend who served as our guide for the pilgrimage was the vice postulator for her cause. So, our community knew a lot about her and her lovely community!

They are an incredibly beautiful order, but do not exist in the US. However, if the language barrier doesn't bother you (French is their main language)...please consider them! They need vocations to their beautiful, sacrificial way of life.

There is an italian blog that has a related blog about her.
The main blog is:http://www.cordialiter.blogspot.com/
and the blog about Blessed Deluil-Martiny is
http://maria-deluil-martiny.blogspot.com/

This is one of the best blogs I know on the internet. I think that there are some persons who are translating the blog's articles into other languages: if you want I may ask if there are English translations.
The sisters have a convent near Venice (Italy) too.
