2000 Years Of Tradition?

why stop at 2000 yrs of tradion Jesus was a Jew as were many of the first Christians. wouldnt 6000 yrs of tradition be better?

Yes Jesus was Jewish, but at the last supper He became Our [b]New Covenant[/b], Our [b]New Passover[/b] Hence the night He died on the Cross it was fulfilled= a little over 2000 years

Any Jew is allowed to join the Church of Christ, as are all men:

"I believe in one Holy, catholic and apostolic Church".

the word "catholic" is a greek word meaning "universal" implying that all men and women are invited to join. Judaism doesn't quite have the "open-arms" policy as it's also based on the idea that there is a lineage from the Chosen tribe of Israel.

Don't forget most Christians try to follow the 10 Commandments too, rather than the Seven Noachide Laws, though to follow both would be a double-blessing

As others have said, the Jewish Law has passed away. It has been fulfilled by God Himself. Some disciplines are continued (e.g., incense, sacrifice--the Perfect Sacrifice, etc), but the Law has been fulfilled. Those who reject the New Law reject God Himself and, as the Mass says (at least it used to), are perfidious, faithless. Those who reject the True Faith have no faith at all and will be condemned.
