maximillion Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 (edited) Letting people know I have had a cute little note from Sr Faith....she is well, enjoyed a six hour Adoration for Corpus Christi, she is due to travel to Glasgow to the Carmel there for some sort of Novices meeting - which she is looking forward to, AND they have a new Postulant entering NH on July 20th. Praise be Jesus Christ! She says she hopes we are all behaving ourselves and passes on her prayers for the Phamily on VS - she liked the Haribo! Edited June 12, 2012 by maximillion

So this would be a third entrant in 2012? Notting Hill seems to be keeping the numbers of UK religious vocations up, all by itself!

Totally Franciscan Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 Yes, I had purchased the DVD Never Lose Hope; it is wonderful. I cried through much of it, as it was so very beautiful. The sale of the DVD goes to pancreatic cancer research, so you just can't lose!

I think to a charity that was close to the deceased sister's heart. You (and anyone else who wasn't yet on Phatmass when Sr. Faith Cecilia was with us on PhatMass) might want to use the search feature to find the old thread she always used as she was discerning with us. She had a long struggle to find the right 'home' -- and it is part of the reason why we are all so rejoicing for her that she seems to be doing well at Notting Hill. She is quite a woman, and i think she will make a wonderful Carmelite. She is praying for us... and I know she values our prayers a well as the Haribo gummies!
