mysisterisalittlesister Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 In the novitiate that my sister was just staying in, they had two terriers that lived with the sisters
marigold Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012
Marigold, AWWWWW. That is all.
That's what I thought! Aaaall God's fluffsies are cute, even if that fact is hidden from certain less spiritually developed persons...
Carmelshrimp Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 In that case I qualify as a spiritual neanderthal - and proud of it! You know what they say "So many kittens - so few receipes"
AnneLine Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 No nuns, but seriously, how can one EVER forget 'sloth' after seeing this! http://vimeo.com/11712103 I think this is how we ALL must look to God - no wonder He finds us so irresistable!
AnneLine Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 Glad you liked it; I am out of legal props and the prop shop is fresh out. I am now forced to make bootleg ones! PROP! You might like this -- one of the Carmels near me had cats. Lots of cats. Eventually they took over the prioresses' cell! She finally gave up and assigned herself another cell! Probably that is TOO many cats for one carmel, yes CarmelShrimp?

PhuturePriest Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012
Really? that is so razzle dazzle! I hope if when I become a Religious, my convent will have a dog or cat! I am such an animal lover! lol!
The Franciscan Missionaries of the Eternal Word (The Friars at EWTN, such as Father Mark Mary from Life on the Rock) have a black lab named Michaelangelo. The Franciscan Brothers of Peace also have a black lab named Ruby. It is shocking just how many animals Religious have. My Priest friend in the Diocese has a lab. I'm pretty sure his is yellow, though. However, I am starting to see a pattern with labs.

Well, I guess when I come tho think of it labs are one of the most popular breeds in America. I am rooting for the beagle though, I have a beagle right now and when ever you oochy coo( ya know baby talk...) him he puts on his baby face. He reminds me of Thumper from Bambi even though he in not a rabbit! lol! Well any who, I just love beagles and Rottweilers(which I haven't mentioned,) but they all think they are such babies and all are so loving! If my future convent doesn't have animals I will just have to get used to it I guess!
