When I visited Sr Mary of St Joseph told me they can only reply to letters about three times a year. If I remember correctly it was around Christmas, Easter and their birthday usually.

Depending on when you wrote, she may not have read your letter yet. I don't think she is given them during Lent. The nuns save them for Easter.
