The Missionaries of Charity. I don't know if the Sisters of Life are considered Missionary but they are still fabulous. And the Franciscan Sisters Missionaries of the Heart of Jesus and of Mary Immaculate

Count us in - don't want to call ourselves "the best," but the Little SIsters of the Poor are in 32 countries. One of our local community is getting ready to leave for Africa in a few weeks, and another to Korea.

The "best" community is the one God calls you to!

Seriously, as long as they follow the Church's authority, they are the "best"; you can't go wrong with women that have consecrated their lives to service of the Gospel!

Welcome, Sister! I presume you are a religious -- if so, let the Moderators know, and they can add a 'religious' tag to you name if you wish. :)

P.S. - I think there may be a problem with the website link on your profile....

Daughters of Charity are FANTASTIC!! They've also been around for a very long time.
The Ursulines were some of the first missionaries to the US. They had and still have a huge presence in New Orleans. They even have a letter from Andrew Jackson thanking them for their prayers during the War of 1812. He said they wouldn't have won without them.
The Sisters of Saint Joseph have done so much missionary work. Their motto is "That all may be one [in Christ]" and take a lot of their mission from John chapter 15.
The Sisters of Saint Francis of the Martyr of Saint George (did I get it right? so many saints!) have missions in South America and Europe, I know for sure.

There are several more, but their names escape me! I'll find the rest and post them here.

Holy Spirit Missionary Sisters...the female counterpart to the Society of the Divine Word. I met three of their sisters when I was living in Hungary...wonderful, holy women!! Their contemplative branch is the "pink nuns"!!!
